This step-by-step will guide the hair stylist to offer three different in-salon services:
STRAIGHT
Process that realign the bonds in your hair shaft more permanently. Extended application time and heat is applied to restructure the bonds. Results lasts from 3 to 6 months. It reduces up to 4 levels of curl reduction.

SMOOTHING
Most people want a natural finish without their hair looking pin straight. A temporary treatment that lock your hair in a straight position. Results lasts from 1 to 3 months. It reduces up to 3 levels of curl reduction.

FRIZZ REDUCTION
Reducting up to 2 levels of curls, an smart solution for damaged, stringy hair and reducing frizz. Results lasts for a month.
Protocol
​​1 - APPLICATION
Divide the hair into even main sections. Apply Macpaul Professional Keratin section-by-section, using an applicator brush and a comb to pull the cream through the hair. Apply from the roots to the ends, dusting the product on the hair. Leave 1.4" (6mm) distance from the scalp.

2 - WAITING TIME

3 - RINSE
Rinse the hair with water for about 10 seconds. Do not use shampoo. Towel dry the hair.

4 - BLOW-DRY
Blow-dry the hair section-by-section, as straight as possible, with as much tension as possible.​

5 - FLAT IRON
Flat iron thin section of the hair section by section. The temperature of the flat iron should be 446ºF (230ºC). Use lower temperatures for hair that is more damaged. Test the appropriate temperature in a range between 380-450ºF (190-230ºC).
